A great tool and two free lessons in one! Thanks Rob
Thanks Joe, appreciated π
Rob, after watching the video I went to the web site, Lucidchart is very comprehensive and integrates with all sorts of applications. AWS (Amazon Web Services) and UML (Unified Modeling Language) are two that I had a look at. Definitely a replacement for Microsoft Visio if people use that.
Yep, it’s excellent Andrew. Glad you like it!
Thanks Rob, for this really useful info. Funnily enough I was walking my dogs in a very rainy Devon earlier thinking that I need to find a tool online that would allow me to do exactly what this does, so the timing could not have been better.
Perfect timing then – hope you didn’t get too wet! Thanks for your comment π
Thank you, Rob, as always great useful information

Hi Rob, Great tutorial and tool. Will give it a go. I have been using a Free mind mapping software for a couple of years now called Freemind.

Yes that’s a good one too Jack. Thanks for sharing and commenting!
Hi Rob,
this takes the “imagination ” out of design as you can see it clearly in two dimensions. It makes any thing clear to do.
Very good work on your part for finding this for us. I will definitely use this.
Best
Bob
Thank you so much for once again sharing such great tips and tools with your audience. You’re the best, Rob!
Thank you for your kind words Melanie, you’re very welcome and thanks for your comment π

Hi Rob,
Nice tip from you and a cool video tutorial – and free. Thanks.
Hi Rob,
just another option I found recently which is very similar.
This is a software download.
http://pencil.evolus.vn/
I have used this to create some flowcharts for some eBooks.
Does a pretty good job.
Free or Donation.
cheers, Mal.
Thanks Mal, always nice to have choices. Thanks for sharing!
Great share Rob, really useful as you say, wish i’d had it years ago when I was making many process maps for electronic tools. I managed with Paint Shop Pro, but this is really easy
I’m sure it would have been great for that. Good to hear from you here on the blog Andrew π
Thanks for this Rob
I’ll be using it for storyboarding videos and perhaps for book planning.
Hopefully it will paste into Scrivener to make things easier.
Looks to be much easier to use than Visio, as Andrew said.
Cheers
Tony
Thanks for your thoughts Tony and glad you found this useful π

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the heads up…Love it…
My pleasure and thanks for saying so Peter.
Excellent Rob Thank you for your Brilliant presentation Looks like a very useful tool for Mind Mapping flow charts and presentations
Absolutely! Good to hear your views Philip, thank you π
Hey Rob that is a very simple tool, thank you. And also thank you for all the obvious and more subtle training you give in your videos at the same time. You really lead the way.
I was thinking that after you download your flow chart you could delete it and be able to make more charts utilizing your 3 freebies over and over again. Long term it would be better to subscribe but initially that could be a good way to go.
Cheer, Marie
Glad you noticed Marie, you’re the first to comment on that! Yes, you can do a lot with the free account. I will probably upgrade as I like to pay for things I find really valuable but either way it’s a great tool in my book.
Sure looks like a tool I would have loved to have had years ago when I was doing that kind of ops management work manually on gridded paper. I shall have a go at the sofware version of that 3ft wide roll of paper.
Thanks Rob.
Haha! Thanks for the comment Rob π
Great info! Thanks Rob.
No worries Joseph, thanks for commenting.
Thanks so much Rob! We will certainly make use of this very useful tool!
That’s great Kobus, I hope you get a good boost from using it! Appreciate your comment π
Being able to visualise processes, and present these to people can make a huge difference, this is still a good option.
Absolutely Michael, a picture is worth a thousand words! Thanks for sharing your thoughts π
